I have mine about eight feet apart, and a couple inches from the wall, just enought to get the sda cable in. They sound incredible, I just need Ben to redo the crossovers if I ever get to taking them out. :D

I think the pink wall might be messing up the soundstage.:D

Leroy, You are spot on about the wall... Wow.

Lbristow, Do you have the first gen SRS's? How much does the crossover mod cost for Ben to do. I'm not sure I want to attempt it and I kow Ben does a great job.

    Thanks for the response,

    David

I moved the location to a longer wall (wife was thrilled, kids were excited) and I got a huge difference in the size of the soundstage and the difference in instrument placement was amazing even with my very ghetto modest setup.

    Thanks for the input!

they were built in 85, I do not remember what the cost is total, it is not too high though, I am wanting to say 4 or five hundred total. The only reason I am wanting to do it is I am not getting the cancellation signal from my left speaker, so I assume this will fix this. Ben probably thinks I am a moron since I have emailed him on and off to get this done, I just have never pulled them out yet, mainly because I listen to them every day.

I do not think you are a moron. We will talk soon enough. I hear you about down time. I am in the works of a TL upgrade for them.
    Enjoy.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben
