LSiC speaker defected???

I have a LSiC centre speaker and when I would have it set up with my other LSi speakers it would always sound like all the sound was projected more from the right side of the room, instead it being distributed equally. I then went close to the centre speaker and noticed that the right cone is projecting a lot more sound than the left cone! Is this normal or is my centre speaker faulty?
Thanks in advance!

    It's normal.

    Taken from here: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/lsi/index.php?s=lsic
    Cascade Tapered Array

Cascade Tapered Array is an advanced crossover configuration providing wider dispersion and greater midrange accuracy on multi-driver speakers. It's only used on higher end speakers. Your mids will sound more natural and every seat will hear spectacular sound. Pretty neat?

It's normal that sound is only coming from one driver at a time due to the cascading design, but the drivers are only a few inches apart and they are not directional, so I don't see how it could throw sound to one half of the room louder than the other. Just a guess, but maybe your room is affecting the sound and you might need some treatments? You could also try moving the center speaker a bit -- a few inches can make a big difference in any speaker placement.

According to the schematic both woofers operate in the bass range but only one covers the midrange,so I suspect it is the right one thats covering the wider frequency range, thus the difference you are hearing between them.
