PSW125 Rear Panel Removal for Warranty

Hello,
I called customer service earlier to ask how to send my sub in for service - he referred me to the manual to see how to remove the rear panel of the sub.
I can't seem to find this, so I tried myself and removed the 10 screws on the perimeter, but it wont budge. I tried to remove the small screws, but they just spin freely and I'm assuming they screw to something on the back - whoops.
Can anyone teach me how to remove it properly? It seems to be stuck - I couldn't wedge it out with a flathead screwdiver. Thanks!

Hello,
You should only need to remove the screws that go around the outside of the metal amp plate. Then use a putty knife to, gently, loosen up the plate from the cabinet. Use the same technique you would use to loosen a stuck paint can lid. A little bit of pressure applied at all points instead to trying to pry it up from just one spot. Put some paper or cardboard under the putty knife to prevent damage to the cabinet. Those other screws probably hold the AC transformer to the metal input plate or circuit board braces. Once you have the amp away from the cabinet you can hold the nuts, from the inside, and tighten the screws from the outside.
Polk's manual has their San Diego service depot in the warranty section.
Cheers, Jed -
You can remove the driver and knock it out from the front as well.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
