Hi there,
my treble response died out about a year ago. Polk sent me a new tweeter, but the treble was still gone. They suggested I pull out the crossover to see if there were any problems there -- it looks like it's in perfect condition, but the thought occured to me that perhaps i had reversed the wires on the leads when I connected the new tweeter. So, now I have a green/white wire, and a blue/white wire. Which color goes to the driver? Which color goes to the tweeter? Also, the tweeter has no indication as to which lead is positive and which lead is negative -- does anyone know which is which, and which color wire (the white or the blue/green) to which lead?

THANKS!
tristan

A quick look inside your "good" speaker will answer your questions.

I replaced the tweeter on my RTi4 a couple of weeks ago. I don't believe you can cross them up, as one wire has a wider spade connection than the other. But definately check your "good" speaker to make sure.
