Is it possible to modify the power supply of an Onkyo 595, by changing power supply capacitors to a higher uF?
I don't know the current values, but the warranty runs out soon. So I'm not interested in popping the top off until.
Just asking, hopefully someone that knows can tell me one way or another.
Onkyo TS DX-595
Jvc DVD Player
Magnavox HiFi VCR
Philips 36" TV
Polk RTi28 front/rear surrounds
Polk CSi30 Center
Polk PSW-350 Sub

disclaimer: I don't have an opinion on this subject, nor affiliation with these people....it's entertaining at least, and give you a starting point to explore your interest...I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
I don't get it.....why would you want to modify your power supply?Whats your motovation.
Wouldn't the logical choice would be to get a better receiver??maybe with more power????Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
