Polk PSW650 issue...

My Polk PSW650 sub works fine when using the LFE input, but when connecting the sub via the line level inputs generates no output from the sub. The high level signal passes thru the sub to the LR speakers but the sub appears dead. The LED on the front does light up, so something seems amiss.
I connected another PSW650 the same way and the second sub works fine so I know its connected correctly.
TIA

bump....
I emailed Polk Customer Service and got no response....
Any ideas, fellas? -
Normally what you do when using HL ins is you use another set of speaker terminals from your receiver for the sub. For example....if you have A/B speaker switching and can run A and B together you can wire B to the sub and keep your Left/Front wired to A and run A&B or back channels which can be RE-ASSIGNED for sub duty. Otherwise one wires the receiver to the sub in and the L/R speakers to the Subs line level OUT R/L (which you really don't want to do).
Make sure that you also are not wired to the OUT instead of INs. I suspect you have something like the above going on. Because you should be getting sound.

Hello,
Sorry you're having a problem. It is possible one of the speaker wire pairs is connected opposite in polarity to the other pair. Since the sub-woofer amplifier adds the two channels together that would mean no input. Try removing one of the speaker pairs and see if it now produces bass?
Regards, Ken -
Sorry to take so long... I double checked the connections still no output. I only connected one channel to the subwoofer inputs as well, still no bass.
