Surroundbar 50 possible issue

I just purchased a refurb Surroundbar 50 from polkdirect via ebay and love it. I have noticed an issue though. While watching LoTR I get static/distortion out of the right surround speaker during certain scenes. I have it hooked up as per the 2nd option of small speaker fronts/center/surround w/ subwoofer on "yes" to a Denon receiver. I've double and triple checked the wires to make sure they are hooked up correctly. The thing is that I've listened to other movies like Pearl Harbor, The Matrix, Return of the King, all types of music and can't seem to reproduce the static/distortion. Now I don't have a huge DVD collection, but I do rent movies all the time via Netflix and I want to make sure that this is an isolated problem and not something small that will become large later on when I'm out of the warranty period. I just received it yesterday and have approx 8 more days to return it. Any thoughts? Thank you for any and all replies

Ok, switched the wires around and still the same static/distortion out of the right side. Again, I only get it during that movie and only during certain scenes...Should I be concerned?

Do these scenes have heavy bass in them?
Is the setup set to "Large".
Do you use a Subwoofer?
