    Its all the luck of the draw. When it comes to anything where your sending your money to someone youve never met for an item youve never scene, your taking your chances. Theres good and bad situations and outcomes with both.

    Either way, its buyer beware. At the end of the day, if were on ebay or audiogon, craigslist, or whatever, your there to save money. If your worried about getting scammed, spend the money and buy it new from the company selling it. That way you know what your getting.

    That was three years ago.

    I still to this date have only bought... 2 things on Agon and sold a few since then versus 120+ on EBay

    I will admit AGON has gotten better with the "buy now" option.

    Still an incredibly slow moving design. IMO

    I also hate they now charge 1% of the total if you sell it. Audiogon offers nothing to the seller or buyer after the sell like EBay does - so I see no reason to give them anymore than $4.00 of my money.
