Im looking at these on parts connection and thinking of ordering the 2R7 which I think is the right value for the 2b xover.Would these be better than mundorf resistors or mills??? I am going to an interview for a new job today and will buy some goodies for my gear if I get the job:eek: Like some cardas or WBT binding posts, dayton 1% caps and some silver sonic hook up wire. And a pair RDO194s of course.:D http://www.partsconnexion.com/t/catalog/resistors.html

Why would you spend more on resistors than capacitors? :p

No slight sheen like Mundorf, no coloration or extra warmth like Mills, Duelund are transparent as possible.

I would recommend the TL upgrade(5.8uf + RD0-198) and a better grade of capacitors for your 2B's if you're considering parts from WBT and Duelund. The TL upgrade alone would be a substantial upgrade over your current 2B's.

I agree with Face. If your going to get into it, go for the upgrade. Why half step? The tweeters cost the same...

One other thing, Duelunds's capacitors are a great match for their resistors. Just don't cheap out and buy the aluminum ones. :D

OK 15.00 for a resistor but thousands for the caps.I can afford the resistors but not those caps.DAMN....I guess I can go with soniccaps on the high pass since I will need to get 2-5.8uf and 2-12uf....Do the mundorfs add a little zing to the highs??Thats what I want----not the warmth the mills are said to have.

The caps listed above are probably the most expensive they make. For a pair of 2B's, you would still be looking at $1,500 for the high pass though.

The SLs are starting to grate on my nerves.Im sure some of you know what I mean.Candy liked them though.lol...Ill stick with sonicaps.I have considered V-CAPS for the high pass. That would cost around 180.00....Sonicaps all around or daytons if Im feeling cheap. The 20% off sale at soniccraft has ended.bummer

If you don't want to spend a lot, I would use Sonic Caps on the HP and Dayton on the low pass.
