It's the little square button next to the quote button in the lower right hand of each post. You'd click it to quote each post all the way until the last post you wish to quote, then you hit the quote button.
For example, say you wanted to quote posts 3, 4, 5, and 8. You'd hit the multi quote icon in posts 3, 4, and 5, and in post 8 you'd hit the quote button. You can even quote a post in one thread and bring it into another.Wristwatch--->Crisco -

I was refering to HDMI cables and the ability to pass 1080p quality signals to the tv and I wasn't refering to more sensitive speaker cable wires which a lot of times quality and price do matter. Of course having a very good quality and sometimes pretty expensive speaker wire is a lot more important than having a certain kind of HDMI wire. -
comfortablycurt wrote: »You're pretty slow aren't you?
When I said "we all agree with you", I was referring to your apparent hatred for high priced HDMI cables. I thought I made that pretty clear when I said...
Apparently I didn't make it clear enough. Also, why would I direct any of these comments towards Snow when I'm in 100% agreement with him?
I find this kind of hard to believe myself... Notice that the AQ rep posted a response to an apparent question about the CL2/CL3 rating of their cables. Note that in Digitalvideos original email to AQ that there wasn't any mention of said CL2/CL3 ratings.
Just FYI, you're about one stupid post away from my Ignore List. I'm sure this doesn't bother you though, as you seem to thrive on stupidity.
Carry on.
If you think that all companies have the same response methods and criteria you must never email any companies. MediaBridge didn't give me much anything and didn't answer any of my questions at all, they prefered me to call them over the phone. Bluejeans kept it simple. AudioQuest's rep gave me a long story on what his company's cables can do. I also wrote Monster last night and got an automated email back saying that they got my email, sort of like when you email your congressman and a electronic 'one size fits all' reponse to the masses is sent out. Maybe a Monster rep will write me back, we'll see, I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
I didn't know there was an across the board law or unwritten rule among companies that they all email you back with the same or even similar response? I can email 100 different companies that make the same product and get back 100 different responses and each one could pick and choose which questions to answer and which ones not to answer. If you want to question the validity of my claims with their different responses to my questions that is pretty naive and ignorant and is a pretty juvenile way to decide what is true and what isn't. I backed up my claims and the Mediabridge rep that contracted me didn't leave his name. AudioQuest's rep did.

You expect me or anyone else here to believe that you wrote an email to audioquest stating that there HDMI cables were overpriced and that no cables should be more than X amount and the response you got was simply what was posted here?
Also you obviously included what Audioquest wrote to you in your email to BJC not just the supposed original email quote to all 3 companies as stated earlier. even a blind man could see this in there response to you. this is part of there response
(I can sell you a BJC Series-F2 cable that is certified for 1080p signal in both Category 1 and Category 2 at that distance, but there is no testing/certification for resolutions higher than 1080p, so I couldn't guarantee it.
A good question for this company would be what is actually guaranteed. If they simply take the cable back for a refund, I would be wary of their business practices. The resolutions they are talking about won't exist for years to come, so be sure to hang onto your receipt... )
I stand by my original statement you sir are both a liar and a fool!!!! Refer to post #17

Since when do you speak for anyone else on this forum or in your boring non-existant life that doesn't exist outside this website little fella? You seem to take this website and your percieved job of being some sort of forum moderator and truth seeker a little to serious and extreme and when someone comes along to challenge your thought and the consensus around here you get all prissy and protective of this forum.

I 100% agree with you on the HDMI cables and the long run distance.
The debate has now centered around not on HDMI cable quality but on the validity of my emails to the wire companies and whether or not I sent them all the same questions because they think that the different responses I got back is not the rule of law among companies that respond to emails. The only company I added on an extra question to was to Monster about their "Bluray HDMI wire" they colored blue, it was one extra sentence. snow wants to waste time and whine and nitpick over the validity of my emails. -

I agree with SNOW. I think if what you accused him of was indeed false as he proclaims, i doubt he would be putting up such a fight. my opinion would prolly be "believe me or not i dont really care". which his is very aggresive. As far as the questions/responses from the companies, its not that their answers dont match each other, its that none of there answers seem to match your questions really. i think that is were the doubt LIES.Onkyo 806

Did you even read my post? None of what you just said here even has anything to do with anything that I said in that post.
The point is, that some of those responses answered questions that you apparently didn't even ask. At least according to the post you made that contained your original question, which was supposed to have been the same to each company. Each companies response contained answers to completely different question.
I still don't see what the purpose of this thread is. We are all well aware of the fact that 400 dollar HDMI cables are a rip off. Remind me...what exactly is it that you're trying to prove here? if you don't believe me. Notice how your only response is to just deny it and not even give the guy a call. I remember when I posted the thread about the Crutchfield rep saying the Pioneer plasmas are the best tv's, people over there demanded I post the rep's name. Well now that I posted the reps name for this thread you're still in denial hahahahaha some people just hate facts and no matter how much proof you give them they want to stay ignorant and close minded. How old are you by the way? I feel like I'm going back and forth with my 8 year old cousin.
1. Trying to convince people? Maybe a few but the fact is people have minds of their own!
2. Trying to prove that you are right? Some may strongly agree while some may strongly disagree!
3. Try confront those companies and possibly take some down? Frankly neither you or I and most Polkies here do not have the knowledge and/or power to achieve such?
4. Keep alive the eternal pattern of cable YA sayer against the NAY sayer so another thread could joyfully get a round of cursing, bashing and name calling?
Just thinking outloud here, you started with some findings which could be legitimate and for which in this free world you are aloud to voice your own way but suddenly you seemed to joyfully jumped into the name calling and disrespect... Just thinking outloud here before I resume reading the daily story/turmoil of where this thread seem to be going again. Is this thread round x of God knows how many more to come before the final punch?
The only win/win situation in such thread, is to agree to disagree. I agree with you that spending extravagant money on a digital cable is futile but... I agree with people who disagree with my statement or with other posters. As a simple Club Polk Member, none of us has anything to prove or nor the ability to do so. State the findings of your research but no need to go at war with this as so far none of the CSR proves anything either and they will definitely make sure it remains as is!
