...you would have to put an electric fence around them so they stay safe from scratches and fingerprints.
....check out the weight on some of those. 410 lbs each.....710 lbs each. Need to brace the joist.

Nice build but how do the sound?engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
These speakers right here have an issue with the finish cracking from the manufacturer right where the box ends and the wood goes up to house the tweeter. Not knocking them, just FYI.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Made in my back yard. I've got a friend in the granite business that used to make different pieces for them. Never actually heard them, but I think they are well regarded.Tschüss

Dude when I worked at Soundex, we carried Eggleston. Man let me tell you about there speakers... they are simply fantastic. I had an emotional connection the very first minute I heard a pair powered off a Mark Levinston #383 integrated with a Rega cd player.
My god they bring back some good memories. I did a install in Pittsburgh Pa with them. I actually replaced a pair with a pair of Wilson Watt Puppie 7's. I actually liked the Eggleston a lot more. Dude had a crazy system and a crazy toy basement.
Those where the days.....
