    Good One Lorthos.

I haven't the faintest...still too rich for my blood--other than a few games for my PS3 (mostly for my daughter) I don't own a single blu-ray yet. Just 'rent'.

Glad I made your day.....I still like owning my movies, we don't go to theater's anymore because of the terrible picture and sound quality....

Basically look for the sales - they can be local or on lines. (I watch Slickdeals.net for them)

That being said - usually go to Amazon or deepdiscountdvd for the best sales. (on average)
    Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
    Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
    Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
    Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

I know most of us stay away from them (pawn shops), but I live where the options for BR's are very limited, and I have found that most pawn shops list them in the 9.99 to 12.99 range. Many of them are in great/excellent shape, and many appear unused. (They usually have them in a separate area from the other DVD's)
Not saying the selection is going to astound you, but I have found about 40 worth buying over the past several months.

I was in the Vancouver/Portland area last week and found them in the 10.00 range. Not bad for the price of going into the places in the first place.
Makes it seem down right economical.
    Happy trails,

Fry's has been having lots of bargain bin sales lately. Good place to shop if you have a brick and mortar store nearby and want a lot of sales at a big box store.

I do not buy Blu ray movies like I did DVD. They cost to much. I buy most of my disc's from Best Buy. I find they have a good selection and good prices. I buy on release day.

I get a pretty good chunk of them through Columbia House. I never buy the "Directors Selection" and always wait for the 2 for 1 sales. They charge $28 for a BR but on sale it works out to about 15-16 shipped. That includes pre-order. Never had a single issue with quality (not like when I was a kid getting casettes).

They had some good prices on used ones at Blockbuster. 15.99 each, and they're guaranteed to work.

That's pretty high for used ones. Especially with the volume of use they'd get at a rental place. Amazon and Frys regularly have catalog titles for $14.99 and under new and factory sealed.
