    No problems with big speakers in the living room here. Dear wife was saddened when I got into speakers with no large horizontal surfaces; she couldn't claim territory on them with doilies and crystal.

    I guess I'm fortunate. I have 2 sets of SDA 1Cs a pair of Monitor 5JRs, B&K AVR 305s as my AV system. When we watch movies I have a hard time conentrating on the plot because I am sitting there thinking..........how lucky am I.........beautiful system, beautiful wife.........life is good!

    Except for the obvious photoshop smoothing, that's a great picture.

    I have a similar one with Soundlab speakers, but posting it would definitely get me banned. :D

    i've never had a thing for big speaks, but the only hardware my wife has neg'd on was the oval 9's. she didn't really oppose them, but said something about them looking like they belonged outside the house. i think it might have to do with possibly making the mistake of showing her the old lavender version before buying them.

    i guess the real test will hit when we get into a house that permanent acoustic treatments will make sense for. maybe, i'll have to try to find some lavender ones.
