k well ive got two 10'' l7 dual4 ohm hooked up to a 1200d power acoustik amp. its a single channel amp....
ive had these wired and working for quite sometime and they were really loud... but since i have installed my new hu, they cut out. i ground the paint of where my ground is, and the amp is not in protect or anything, voltage in is good....
but after i did this the subs dont hit very hard at all, sounds like some1 is flicking the cone with their finger... i tested each sub individually to make sure i didnt blow em up. both subs work fine by themselves, but when i try to hook up the two of them they barely hit

crash, you'd probably have better luck posting in the "On The Move" sub forum for auto related equip. a little further down the CP main page.

    1. verify the voltage of your pre outs on your new radio.
    2. verify the frequency output/db level on your head to the sub
    3. if you made any movment with the wiring verify there are no kinks/cust/holes in your wiring.

i would probaly think that your old head unit had 4v pre outs and your new head unit may not. in this case you would see a drop off in your sound levels.
Also the amp you have choosen is not the best. power acustik amps are none for poor circuitry.
