I think that would be a good comparision, although I have not heard
the LSi15 in a home setup(only heard at Tweeters). I hear that the
LSi15s are musicial:) The Linn speakers have a warm sound with lots
    of air,and Natural Detail.:D

Looking for a Black pair of Linn AV5140s speakers for my rear channel.
I would like to match my speakers up for Blu-Ray concerts/5.1 music.
Although my current Polk RT55is are Awesome in the rear on Movies:D

What types of music would you say the Linns shine the best on if you don't mind me asking? What type of music would they strain on or not give you what you would be looking for in a speaker?
~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

The linns excel on Jazz and Vocals-Smooth huge soundstage-lots of air.
The linns are not bright at all, so I will say on Rock they would strain a lil
in the highest octave.Although Horns sound great:D

I'm gonna get my ears on a set of Linns here in about a month ran on some heavy hitter tubed gear. I can't wait. Thanks 'cause know I'll know what to test them out with. :D
