OK, folks -- I've got power cords on the brain lately. I'm familiar with the Signal Cable options but lately PS Audio has caught my attention.

I've seen some discussion of the PS Audio Prelude. This seems to be on the lower end of their spectrum (though I've read many good things about it) through my searches on CP. But in my searches I wasn't able to get a sense of what PS Audio offers just above this level.

Anybody know what models rank just above the Prelude? Furthermore, for those familiar with PS, any experience comparing various models? Like I said, I wasn't able to find too much, at least through conventional searches.

Some coward keeps tagging threads with, "more cable nonsense", so how about being a man, stand up and be counted.

I run the PS Audio Plasma to my pre. At this time my amp doesn't take IEC and I'm going to worry about it with this particular amp. The one I ran to my tube amps is a Signal that not nearly as flexible or thick as the Plasma.

Norm, the Prelude's were PS Audio's entry power cord. The Plus Power was the mid and the Statement was the TOTL.

PS Audio has recently revamped their offerings with the new PerfectWave line, http://www.psaudio.com/ps/products/list/category/power-cables/

    Their previous power cords, http://www.psaudio.com/ps/products/list/category/cable-classics/

I compared the PS Statement PC to the PS Premier PC here.

I was using Signal Cable PC's prior to the PS PC's in my two channel system. I still use all Signal Cable PC's in my home theater and other systems.

If you email PSA's customer service with a list of your equipment, they will be happy to make a recommendation on which of their current or prior model cords they think would be a good fit for your gear.

There is also lots of good information on the PSA PC's on the Audiogon and Audio Asylum forums.
