My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -

any other thoughts on this?
it seems like a lot of people are stuck on ps3, sammies, etc for blu-ray players and not too many people have much experience with other brands.
this seems to be a pretty good player with limited consumer use? -
How much are they selling the 2809 for?

I am new here so please be gentle with me. I saw a Denon DV 2500 BTci on sale for $299.00 NIB and the DVD 2930 for$199.00 NIB at Vann's. I own a Pio sc05, DBP95fd, BDP51fd, dv 58ai with that in mind I do not really need another BlueRay player or transport but it'smy weakness when seeing something on sale for a fraction of cost. So here are my questions to the Denon Veterans : 1. How is the reliability issue on these Denon DVD 2500 BTCI or the DVD 2930 ? To my dismay, these are made in CHINA and to get some thing made in Japan, you have to cough up over $4K for a player? To make a matter worse, there are so many complaints about the lazer driver failure on the Denon DVD 2930 Ci due to the cheap driver made in China? My only option now is the Denon DV 2500 BTCI @ $288.99. It's a no brainer but the fact that is made in China worrying me a lot. Yes,it's a one of a heck deal but it's also could be one of a heck expensive "brick" with double steel cover cage to weight 30LBS. Please weight in your advice(s) and again this is in no mean to bash Denon products. Thank you.

Well, I guess no Denon DVD 2500 BTCI owners here or I probably just open a can of worm. I guess I've received the message either way. Tks.
