At my grandmas funeral there are orbs in the pictures of her coffin, solid white, in different spots on different cameras. My uncle, a professional photographer, said they weren't from any of the lights in the room. Pretty weird I must say. The last picture has no orb. No other pictures taken that day had orbs in them either.

I'm sure it could be something besides ghosts or whatever, it's just kinda interesting that we never see orbs on any pics and now there they are.

I think the human face in pic 2, just down and to the right of the orb (straight down from the crook in the limb) is way more convincing to me.

I am not much of a believer into these orb things. However I did see a commentary on this subject on television a while back. I do however believe in ghosts or spirits, however you want to refer. Orbs are not scary, trying witnessing the real thing! I have several years ago, and let me tell you, it truly is hair raising.

This picture with the woman in the white coat, has a freaky picture taken of her. A picture which I tried to get myself as I may never see another picture like it again in my life. During a cementry stop and the tour guide said they like "Blonds" she pulled her hat off, a friend of her took a picture at this time. The picture didn't show her head, it just had the ground if you cut off her head at there. You would think the picture was played it, but I can say no way it was on the camera. Even they didn't believe that picture and she just about freaked out about the picture. She wondered why her head was removed and she still here.

Cold hearted orb that rules the night, removes the colors from our sight.

Red is grey, and yellow .... white.

But we decide which is right and which is an illusion.

If you really want to know if something is there, make a recording via tape while youre in the house at night, try different areas of the home or while youre eating dinner, washing dishes, and definitely while youre sleep. You'll be surprised at what you hear sometimes.

That room was very dark and I must add the woman who shown "Us" the group around was bit "Freaked Out". She moved very quickly room to room and you didn't wish to lose the group and be all alone in there.

And that building is said to be the most Haunted building in USA "Ripley's Believe it or not" in St. Augustine Florida. Being there close to min night with the lights low is a bit Freaky on its own if you ask me.

I'm very skeptical, but still open to the idea of something beyond our understanding, but I just fail to see how poor photography is proof of it. If you had taken that identical picture in someplace that someone DIDN'T tell you was haunted, you wouldn't even notice the spot, or would be annoyed by it, not convinced it's a ghost.

This is interesting. I'm in St. Augustine on business and Ripley's is within walking distance of my hotel! Plan on going out this evening and may go there if some of the group is up to it.

I would occasionally see orbs in my pictures right after I switched from film to digital cameras several years ago. As I became more proficient in digital photography, the orbs stopped appearing in my photos. This Wikipedia article and its references has a good overview of the phenomenon.

Lighting has an effect for sure in showing up in a picture or not, but I think they can be all around us dependent of the area. Like a tree in which people where hung to die, or a building where some death has taken place there in the past, or a cemetery in where live people where buried alive thinking they are dead. It seems plausible that a soul could be say missed placed in this world, in these areas. I think during that tour, many where not believers (I wasn't at first myself) but when that womans in that white coat head was missing in a picture that raised some eyebrows in the group for sure.
