Stand against anti-American Hollywood:

Hi:

I would like to make a proposal. Mark the anti-American actors, Shawn Penn, Barbara Striesand, Jane Fonda, and all the others you can think of, that talk down America and fraternize with the enemy. Don't buy their products, don't watch their movies, don't give them any support whatsoever. Maybe in time they will fade, or die, away.

Come on George, get in on this, as i'm sure you will.
Pass this alone to all your friends and web sites.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE:::::::::LEAVE!!!!!!!!!

    Don't forget the Baldwin bro-****.

Now take Tom Hanks, whatever you may think of his acting, he is trying to get people to remember what it means to be an American and to honor the men and women who fought for this Great Country. I'll take my hat off for him.

I think if we should also make an effort to show support for the celebreties that are supporting America.

I don't get it. They aren't anti-american, they are anti-war. There is a big difference IMO. I'm not saying I agree with all of their actions, I just don't think they should get such harsh treatment for trying to speak out against war.

    Hi:

To respectfully answer your question. Iraq has been a problem for more than a decade. There has been enough information presented lately to convince most people of that. Some times it is best to get rid of some things. Freedom does not come cheap, and a lot of people in this country don't have a clue about what it means to be an Amercan. I won't try and rehash what has been said on the news over the past year only to say this. The only way to get rid of a cancer is to kill it and sodem is a cancer.

President Bush was elected by a majority to run this country and that is what he is doing, very well I might add, and we need to support him. He and his cabinet just happen to know a whole lot more than we personally do. In other words, most individuals are not well informed enough to make a intelligent assumption. That is his job.

I certainly don't look to a bunch of immoral misfits that can't keep their marriages or lives, for that matter, in order. I am referring to a good segment of hollywierd. When we demonstrate and cause disruption in times like these it only causes the enemy to laugh and be more determined in his cause. We don't need to be doing this.

Support our President!!!!! He is a good man and I trust him.

It's not that they're just anti-war, they're in fantasy land. While they live the life of the rich and famous, they don't have a effin clue what the hell they are talking about or what's going on in the real world.

French Military History in a Nutshell
Currently making the rounds in the military community: The Complete Military History of France
    >
    > - Gallic Wars - Lost. In a war whose ending foreshadows the next 2000 years of French history, France is conquered by of all things, an Italian.
    >
    > - Hundred Years War - Mostly lost, saved at last by female schizophrenic who inadvertently creates The First Rule of French Warfare; "France's armies are victorious only when not led by a Frenchman."
    > -Italian Wars - Lost. France becomes the first and only country to ever lose two wars when fighting Italians.
    >
    > - Wars of Religion - France goes 0-5-4 against the Huguenots - Thirty Years War - France is technically not a participant, but manages to get invaded anyway. Claims a tie on the basis that eventually the other participants started ignoring her.
    >
    > - War of Devolution - Tied. Frenchmen take to wearing red flowerpots as chapeaux.
    >
    > -The Dutch War - Tied -War of the Augsburg League/King William's War/French and Indian War Lost, but claimed as a tie. Three ties in a row induces deluded Frogophiles the world over to label the period as the height of French military power.
    >
    > -War of the Spanish Succession - Lost. The War also gave the French their first taste of a Marlborough, which they have loved every since.
    >
    > - American Revolution - In a move that will become quite familiar to future Americans, France claims a win even though the English colonists saw far more action. This is later known as "de Gaulle Syndrome", and leads to
the Second Rule of French Warfare; "France only wins when America does most of the fighting."
    >
    > - French Revolution - Won, primarily due the fact that the opponent was also French.
    >
    > - The Napoleonic Wars - Lost. Temporary victories (remember the First Rule!) due to leadership of a Corsican, who ended up being no match for a British footwear designer.
    >
    > - The Franco-Prussian War - Lost. Germany first plays the role of drunk Frat boy to France's ugly girl home alone on a Saturday night.
    >
    > - World War I - Tied and on the way to losing, France is saved by the United States. Thousands of French women find out what it's like to not only sleep with a winner, but one who doesn't call her "Fraulein." Sadly, widespread use of condoms by American forces forestalls any improvement in the French bloodline.
    >
    > -World War II - Lost. Conquered French liberated by the United States and Britain just as they finish learning the Horst Wessel Song.
    >
    > - War in Indochina - Lost. French forces plead sickness, take to bed with the Dien Bien Flu
    >
    > - Algerian Rebellion - Lost. Loss marks the first defeat of a western army by a Non-Turkic Muslim force since the Crusades, and produces the First Rule of Muslim Warfare; "We can always beat the French." This rule is identical
to the First Rules of the Italians, Russians, Germans, English, Dutch, Spanish, Vietnamese and Esquimaux.
    >
    > - War on Terrorism - France, keeping in mind its recent history, surrenders to Germans and Muslims just to be safe. Attempts to surrender to Vietnamese ambassador, fail after he takes refuge in a McDonald's.
    >
    > The question for any country silly enough to count on the French should not be "Can we count on the French?", but rather "How long until France collapses?"
    >
    > NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
    >

What is the first thing they teach a French soldier in boot camp?
    - How to raise his hands over his head.

What is the most important piece of gear in the French Army? - A white flag.

French tanks are the only tanks in the world built with back-up lights.

The French army was fighting the Belgium army many years ago. The French army was camping on one side of the river when a lone Belgium soldier came to the other side of the river and challenged 500 of the French soldiers to come over and fight him. All fired up, 500 of the the French finest crossed the river. As they got to the other side of the river the Belgium solder ran over the top of a hill and the French followed. Next, all that was heard was screaming and shouts and bodies of French soldiers flying around. In a few minuites all was quiet and the unscathed Belgium soldier returned to the river bank challenging 500 more French soldiers. Ready to avenge their fallen comrades, 500 more started across the river. Just about that time a lone French soldier crawled to the top of the hill and yelled to his comrades. GO BACK! GO BACK! IT'S A TRAP! THERE ARE 2 OF THEM!

    Say what you want,
    whether you're for the war,
    against the war,
    whatever.
the fact we can say what we want is the important thing.

    One thing is for sure.
If you want to make some money,
    invest in oil.
(Even though fossil fuels are dinosaurs,
literally, causing acid rain and all manner of enviromental damage).
As long as there is an oil man in the whitehouse,
investing in oil is a safe bet.

Hmm.... Interesting point of view considering GW wants to invest ~2B in Hydrogen.

My money is staying in the tech sectors; furthermore, I will look for the companies that have large R&D efforts in the Hydrogen distribution equipment.

It's not about oil..we've got plenty! All that needs to happen is to ignore the tree hugging liberals and open up Alaska for exploration. Put up or Shut up..show something in writing that proves it's about oil, please don't repeat the peace activists mantra about oil because there is NO BASIS IN FACT FOR THAT ARGUEMENT!!! Oil is not the issue now, nor was it the issue 10 years ago. This is about getting rid of a murdering lunatic, who has made clear his intentions of killing as many of us as he can...either directly or indirectly by supporting terrorist activities aimed at the free world. Not just America, but at anyone that believes in freedom. Iraq will be freed from the grasp of a madman that has used, and will continue to use weapons of mass destruction against the people of Iraq. Open your eyes and your mind to the world around you and really examine the issue, the culture, and the history of that part of the world. True America has made a number of mistakes in that part of the world, but we are going to make up for it very soon!! I wonder if your opinion would be differant if you or a member of your family were Jewish, or perhaps had lost a family member on 9/11. Although I am not Jewish, and I did not lose any immediate family on 9/11...I still lost over 3000 family members...so did you!! Keep in mind that our war against terror is going to be the longest war in US history, and keep in mind the words of our President...."You are either with us, or you are against us..."

That may be true but, right now, the only way we get that hydrogen is from natural gas which is a fossil fuel. Still an oil investment.

Never doubt the power of a politician to bang the drum and get people worked into a frenzy to accomplish personal agenda.

The civil war was just such an issue.
Rich slave owning landowners somehow convincing the rest of the south (people who neither owned slaves nor probably would ever have enough money to do so) that their rights were being impinged upon.
Ninety five percent of the men who did the fighting and dying for the south did so to protect the rights of wealthy five percent of the population.

I'm all for defending this country, to the last man if necessary, going to Iraq is not my idea of defense.

Just make sure before you put your uniform on, that the ideal you're fighting for is one you truly believe in.

No doubt there J but since we import the vast majority,(~99%) of LNG from Canada I hardly think we have any worries. ;) I was even shocked to find we export LNG to Japan... sounds pretty damn expensive to me!

I'll echo with the above and restate the issue with Iraq is not about Oil but is about Human Rights and a Lunatic that fosters Terror.
