Replacing RTi 70 tweets

So I just got a deal from a guy on a pair of RTi 70s, but one tweet isn't working. I knew that when we did the deal, which is partly how I got such a good price. So my question is, is it recommended to replace both tweets, or are the sl6511s all similar enough sonically that I won't notice a difference? I pulled to front off the speaker, but couldn't get the tweet out of the facing. Is there a trick to that? I'd like to check before I order, in case it's a blown crossover.
