Synchronizing my SurroundBar30 and Sony 52 HDTV

I have played with the Polk Setup to get sound synchronizing with my HDTV and i still cannot get them even close. Is there a solution.

    Hello,
    Let's see if we can figure this out. I'm going to make some general assumptions:
    1). you are using an HDMI cable from the SurroundBar 360 to the TV.
    2). you are using the internal DVD player as the source.
    If so, make sure you have gone into the TV's setup menu and set whatever video input you are using on the TV, to "HDMI". Also, while you are watching a DVD, in the Polk, use the Polk remote to "pause" the DVD and then "play". Then if this isn't helping turn off both the SB360 and the TV, then turn the SB360 on first, then the TV. The idea is to get the Polk and your Sony to synchronize via the HDMI cable.
