This is a "feeler" FS thread, if the unit doesn't sell for what I'm asking for, not a big loss. Unit was purchased November 2007 so its just a little over a year old. It has played and operated flawlessly from day one. The way I received it is the way the buyer will receive it, original box, remotes, paperwork, receipt, etc. The unit already has the latest firmware already installed 2.02. I'll only ship within the US and my price includes shipping and insured. Don't have any pics yet but I will get some tonight when I get home but you can clearly see the unit within my system showcase. Unit has been running in a smoke free, pet free, kid free room from day one as well. Absolutely no scratches or blemishes anywhere on the unit. Only payment accepted will be Paypal + 3.5%. Asking price for the unit shipped and insured, $850 Feel free to PM with any questions.

Here is a quick pic of the 3808 I have for sale. The lense on my camera must have had dust on it.

Great Receiver, I have the AVR 2807 and love it. I assume you're upgrading. Would you tell us what direction you're going in regarding Receivers, or Pre/pro/amps?

    thanks

    My man. Nice.

But the Denon avr3808 is a wonderful receiver especially for this kind of money. I'm sure you'll sell it fast,

I have one of these driving my RTi HT. The idea of getting an external amp NEVER crosses my mind. Great receiver; decodes all the new fancy HD audio, the Audissey (Sp) setup is great, and at this price it's a no brainer.

All day and still no bites. Maybe I should just keep the Denon then. Hell, maybe I should raise the price, everywhere I look they are still selling for $1000 used, I'm giving you Polkies one hell of a deal then.;)

If someone wants one, this is the one to get. The price is fantastic. Just check out what it goes for new. I have experience with the 3808 and also as a pre. It's very nice and has a lot of features. No one beats Denon on features. No one.

Do a search there are threads on the Pioneer if that's a concern for you.

Yeah I suppose I could do that. There are a lot of things I suppose I should/ could do. Fact is, the OP is selling the DENON and buying the PIONEER. I guess I just figured he would know off the top of his head what the major differences are. Thanks anyway for being a j%rk.

Sorry if I came across as a jerk.

Didn't mean to I was just trying to give you a nudge, to say that it's not cool to be raising a question like that in Grimster's thread where he's selling his Denon. That's not good form IMO.

And that's why I was a bit terse...again...nothing personal intended. Perhaps I should've just said 'it's not cool to ask that, here!'
