Anyone have any solid advice on an epoxy/glue for repairing a shifted magnet. This is a non Polk driver, and the threaded steel plate that is glued to the magnet structure has shifted.
Thanks

Found just what I am looking for. It is a super glue type adhesive that withstands high heats, and does not fracture like regular super glue:)

Ben, what about JB weld ?
It's funny you mention that. We need something very low in viscosity to adhere the plate to the magnet, but we are planning on running a ring of JBweld around the circumference.

Hey Ben, what was it that you ended up using? The link above is dead.

I'm doing a update on the SDA 2b's. While I'm in there would it be a good idea to go ahead and do this JB weld thing to the MW's?Sunfire Theater Grand IV

The JB Weld is foolproof. DO ALL the seams from the frame to the outer edges of the mag structure.. $5 for enough to do a dozen or more drivers.
It sets up quick so only mix enough to do about 4 drivers at a time.
Clean surfaces are a must. NON residue cleaner. -
