C500.1 amp not working anymore.

I have a c500.1 carbon series amp, and here recently it has been shutting off randomly. At one point everytime I turn on my truck the thermal light blinks. And also lately it will turn on and sound good, but then it will shut off and a light that reads short on the amp blinks then the amp turns back on. What should I do? Thank you for your time.
