Upgrading tweets on 2.3TL

Hey guys,
I have decided to heed some early advice from the forum and
upgrade the tweets on my 2.3TLs.
What are the current and appropriate options from Polk for
doing this? Also do I have to do them all at once, or can I
do it progressively?
Awaiting your advice,
Alex.

No doubt about it, all at one time.
I do believe you need to order RDO-198's at about $50.00 each from Polk customer service. That cost is for members so be sure to tell them you are a member here.
Good luck -
I did my 2.3's (not TL) and it did make a diff. My next step is to do the crossovers.

I replaced the ones in my 2.3tl's with rdo 198 and they sound much better, and definitly all at the same time.

So it looks like I'll be replacing all the tweets!!
I'm waiting for a reply back from Polk re: the RD0 - 198's.
I'm currently experiencing a bit of intermittent crackle in the left
top tweet, so what better excuse to change over?
Has anyone fried a tweet by putting too much power through
it?
Thanks again,
Alex. -
Yup
Back in the day, late 70's, when I over drove my receiver, which is long gone.
What are you using to power those bad boys? -
The top left tweet in my 2.3 tl's would shut off and I figured it was the cap on the x-over so I resoldered it and it works fine so just replacing the tweets may not take care of the problem. I would switch it out with another one first and see if that takes care of the crackel.
