I pulled my albums out of "storage" last night and flipping thru them was a trip down memory lane!! Next the TT must be repaired our replaced, I had forgotten what a treasure of tunes I have in my albums.
Somebody told me today that the Sgt. Peppers album I have may be a valuable collectable since it has the cut out art work sleeve insert??Yep, my name really is Bob.

Well I think the crackle and pop stuff can be removed with the rehab solution. I think it was called LAST....but like i said..NOT cheap..about 25 for a 4 ounce bottle(could be alot more now) if they still make it?....and 4 ounces dose not last long.
Plus it only lasts for 2-3 plays.
You could record it to tape...if you have a real good deck. All of which is going backward..but still sounds better then recording it to CD...by far! -
I recently spent $350 to buy, as a gift, an 120G iPod and respectable speaker dock. I'm laying down the credit card and thinking, "Nope. I'd never buy this."
Yes, the iPod is a super tool for some and its great for introducing young people to a wide variety of music. Yet, it's got no soul.
**** the iPod. My daughter saw her reflection in a spinning Wings record tonight. That's home audio.Marantz DV4001 CD and DVD

There was even boot leg vinyl, which was really bad..LOL
"Bathtub Vinyl - Listen and go Blind!" - bad joke, but it's early in the morning for me..lol.
I think you may be right - a poor recording might be the culprit on that one.2-Channel:

Yeah, the Dead had a tendency to run tape on a lot of live stuff..some great, as the original Live/Dead, back in 69 on the WB label. Some, well just not recorded that well. Most of the studio stuff is good, but live stuff can be hit or miss.
