    I had the feeling that 2009 would be a quite year for audio like other years - Right. Most of the things are in place with some potential, yes potential changes.

    1) New Pre for HT (doing more research)
    2) Upgrade cables (again ?)
    3) Mod to Esoteric (part of the wish list)
    4) More SACD's (this is guaranteed)
    5) 2CH totally completed (main objective)

    Depending on the success of the Eco Stim Package:

    > Empirical Audio Off-Ramp Turbo3 w/ Superclock 4 and Mega Battery (for jitter reduction in my computer system).

    > Signal 14g Digital Reference PC (from PS Audio Duet to computer)

    > Element 14g Blue Power Cord (from Duet to preamp)

    > any 10g PSA PC to connect Duet to wall

    > 10g PC from Duet to Aragon amp - not decided on brand yet, maybe LAT International.

    > improve vib control and damping in both computer and home theater systems

    > Replace B&W LM1s w/ Polk M30s at rear of HTS.

    > Some cheap tweak from Herbies as a XMass present for cnh.:cool:

    Already did my 2009 upgrades for the most part...

    - Upgraded speakers from RTA8T's to RT7's wall mounted
    - Upgraded receiver from an older Onkyo to newer Pioneer 5.1 unit
    - Upgraded to a dedicated DAC for my computer (PC is my main source for this sytem)
    - Added a PSW111 subwoofer. (Possibly gonna upgrade to something with more oomph soon but this things blends very well for music.)

    My near-term plans include getting quality interconnects. But for the most part, this system sounds very good for the $500 total I have spent on it. Very impressed with the RT7 speakers.

    Now that I have my 4 ohm capable NAD T754, and have been very impressed with how it handles my four RT55 and CS400, I'm going to take the plunge fairly soon and replace these speakers with a 5.1 or 6.1 all LC80i system. I might even go 5.2 or 6.2 ... we'll see.

    Also, I'll be adding a new flat screen TV in the family/dining area, probably 36-42" (already have a Samsung 46" 550 series in the living room, where the ceiling system will go). The RT800s that are on duty in this room, with a Denon AVR3200, will be retired, replaced by two (or three) ceiling speakers there also, but of the 8 ohm variety. I haven't decided if I'll add two more ceiling speakers in this area as a zone 2 from the living room system. So I would have a 2.0 or 3.0 system for viewing TV in this room, and a seperate 2.0 system for listening to music playing on the living room system.

    It's all a bit up in the air for the moment, and I don't know if I really want to keep the Denon AVR3200, but I have the budget planning under control, more or less. I just need to finalize the details and think it through.

    So much is possible...

    I have high confidence in 1 and 2. 3/4/5 will depend on if we sell the house and potential new reoom set up.

    1) Plug in APC H15
    2)Try some Silver cables or try silver contact enhancer (if you have extra of this stuff and found it useless but it's still around let me know. Maybe I could take it off your hands for less than a small fortune?)
    3) Upgrade cables MIT?
    4) Consider DAC vs TT
    5) Blue Ray /New Oppo?
