Question on PSW125

I keep hearing some strange vibrating coming from the inside of my PSW125 when I turn the volume all the way up (sounds like something is rattling on the inside). Does anybody know if there are guides available for a step-by-step walkthrough of opening and servicing the sub?

I would guess that right there is your problem.

The PSW125 is a decent little sub for what it is, but it's not an end all sub that you can drive to the moon and back. Any sub is going to rattle like that when it get's turned up to much. Roll back on the volume a little bit.

It is possible though that there's something loose in there rattling around too of course.

I owned the psw 125 for months with no rattle. Try taking the amp plate off and see what's inside.

When you say, "turn it all the way up", are you just referring to the gain on the sub itself, or the volume on your AVR?

Like Lee said, take the amp off and check inside. The plate should remove easily enough.
