Guys, have any of you done any business with newegg.com? If so, please share your experience with us. I see a lot of good deals over there, but are they too good to be true? Is the gear they sell mostly B-stock, refurb, and etc.? Appreciate any and all input. Have a blessed afternoon.

Cheers,

Phil

They are the best, be sure you read feedback on the products but Newegg is excellent. Fast shipping and prices. Been using them for at least 12 years. I am sure you will get the same feedback from others here.

Wow, very glad to hear this. Is the gear all new or B-stock? I see they have open box deals and refurbs stuff. Is the rest of their gear brand new A-stock?

    Cheers,

    Phil

Newegg is the way to go...

They had an open box onkyo sr 606 for 240 or so last week... I was too late to jump on it. In open boxes, their warranty is almost non-existent though. That's why it would be wise to get an additional warranty through squaretrade. They've got the best warranty and prices. www.squaretrade.com

PS: Not affiliated with neither companies...

I would assume they would note if anything was B-stock or refurb. Newegg is a fantastic company to deal with in every respect.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I've been shopping with newegg since 2001 and have probably spent more than $10,000 there to buy parts building computers for friends and family. They are absolutely the best when it comes to product support and customer service... they will allow you to send in most products for exchange if they become defective within the first year... you can see which products are elgible for this under the return policy listed for that product.

they really go out of their way to make you happy with your purchase... most of the times they will even bypass their own policies to keep you from complaining.

Never bought audio equipment from them, but I have bought a bunch of PC stuff. Always easy to deal with. Never received an item DOA although I am sure someone out there might have since that is the nature of electronics. Good return policy. Very fast shipping. Great prices. Newegg is the first place I look when buying computer parts online.

I have had many transactions gone bad. Late shipping, no tracking, RMA problems, sending different model parts without telling me...
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

New Egg is outstanding. I buy almost all my computer goods from them. Can't remember the last time I bought stuff like that at a brick and mortar store.

Definitely a great place to order from. I haven't personally, but my brother in law is an IT guy, and he swears by the place. He orders all sorts of items from them, and has been doing so for many many years.

And I am in CA and even have to pay taxes when ordering from Newegg, and yet I still pick them 9 times out of 10.

They used to have poor OEM hard drive packing...they would slip out of the single bubble wrap and rattle around the box getting trashed, now my last 4 or 5 drives have come with 3 or 4 layers of bubble wrap and enough tape to keep the drive in...a big improvement. I am sure it was all of the complaining in the comments ...the squeeky wheel got greased.

What makes the polk speakers they have such a great deal is the free shipping AND great prices...I just wish they had a better selection of models.
