Some photos of Heiney9 and a few other friends setting up the amps at a friend's house (since my rig has either been sold off or packed away in anticipation of a move to a new house).

Audio Meet at Rob's House (03/13/09)

Thanks to Ted for the speedy shipping and for answering a few questions once they got here!

Notice how I didn't make into the pics until the 3rd page. The whole "too many cooks in the kitchen thing" :p. Mostly Blake and our friend Aaron (not a_mattison a different Aaron) setting 'em and installing the tubes in the pics.

I wish Ted would have sent along a couple snorts of whatever RUM he was drinking that evening when he answered the phone......lol :p:D

Well it was nice to see everyone smiling and having a good time getting the amps going. I am glad things made it to Blake without serious incident.

I got my own groove on last Friday with PolkClyde as we enjoyed the Shed Rig.

I would be lying if I said I did not have some seller's remorse in letting this pair of BAT amps go.

Enjoy them Blake and the RAS, maybe one day I can make it up your way.

RT1--I can see Brock grimacing a bit as that sound washes over him gives him a woody as then he realizes its not a Pass design.........oh yea, and Brock, nice Princess sippy cup........

I can see why you'd have some seller's remorse! I am really looking forward to getting these in my main system for some extended listening. I was blown away by the way they sounded with Rob's setup. I'm already poking around looking for some extra tubes so that if one ever goes out, I don't have to wait to have another one shipped!

Thanks for the great deal Ted, and I too hope you can make it up here one day to hear them! :D

P.S. Brock did an awful lot of "supervising" that night -- didn't want to get his hands too dirty!

Plus... They made him sit on his hands so that he didn't break anything. Too much glass with the tubes and all.

It's what's in the cup..........not the cup itself that is important :D. If Blake sells I get first dibs and these will be offered here first..............I doubt they will be FS for quite sometime...but you never know!

I was sitting on my hands..........because at like your place there should have been a remote control in my hands.........but no one seems to believe in using those these days, even if they are part of the package......some leave them in the box which is stored in the attic ;):p
