Is anyone else having problems accessing specific speakers, specs and reviews since they redesigned the Polk website?

FYI: I can see it on my older gear by doing a search on "RTi8" but can not get info on "RTi A5"

I have IE 7 / Win XP SP3 and allow auto updates.

I click on Products -> Home Audio -> Application -> Floorstanding and go to http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/floorstanding.php and see a page highlighting LSi's.

I go to the pic for RTiA click on it and go to http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/floorstanding.php#rtia the same page with LSi's.

I can get to the RTiA page by doing a search and going to http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/rtia/index.php and then click on RTiA5 the URL goes to http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/rtia/index.php#rtia5

When I click on the Reviews tab I go to http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/rtia/reviews.php#rtia5 but I do not see any reviews.

I can not remember another web site I visit where I have these problems.

I do have some experience as my whole 35 year career has been in IT but with little hands on web development. I have reviewed my developers work and test plans and so know how to test.

While I would like to see this data I guess I can find it elsewhere.

THe only reason I posted was that I think Polk's web developers have a problem and should know about it.

Yeah...it's not doing that for me. I just tried it.

Products-home audio-application-floorstanding brings me to a page showing the different series of speakers. The LSi's are the default page I guess...but it has all the different series on the left of the page.

When I click on the RTi series picture on the left...it takes me to the RTi's...VM takes me to VM etc...

I'm not having the issue with the reviews either. They're all showing up.

Works fine for me as well, even if I use the links you provided, still works as intended. Might very well be a security setting in IE7 or Win7. Just for kicks and giggles, try Firefox, Safari, or Google Chrome to see if it temp resolves the issue.

This is the first I've heard of this problem. Can you try another browser to see if you get the same results?

Also, would you mind taking some screen shots for me so I can see what's going on? Specifically, take a screen shot of what you see AFTER you click on the RTi floorstanding picture on http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/floorstanding.php

Thanks, I'll try to resolve the issue for you.

Hm...sounds like there may be some issues with certain browsers. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

What browser/version are you using? That will help me fix the problem.

    And no, how many?

    Thanks,

If I went to a companies website and I couldn't get it to work I would tell all my friends to never buy from that company. That would be at least like 3 sales...if you don't include moms + imaginary friends...well then it would be just me.

I will ruin you Polk Audio!

OP: I assume you have java running? I had all kinds of issues until I realized I killed javascript on club polk only.

I just fired up Firefox 2 and had the same problem - nothing happened when I clicked on the RTiA pic.

From IE7 I click on the RTiA pic and the only changes I see is the LSi text goes to Bold and the URL gets "#rtia" apended on the end of it

FYI: I do not have the problem when I use my ASUS eeePC netbook connected via wireless to the same network and running Win XP, IE 6

Hmmmm....can't seem to figure out the problem. I see that everything is working up until the point that it tried to load the RTi A text.

If you have some free time (or the energy) I'd really like to figure out a solution and would like to talk to you on the phone. My number at work is 800-377-7655 x895.

    Thanks,

    Hey thanks for the call!

It appears that CA (Computer Associates) Personal Firewall Ad / Pop-up blocker is causing the problem by killing the jquery toggle() method.

Does anyone else have this software installed? Are you having the same problems?

    Thanks,
    ~Justin

I'm using CA Personal Firewall Version 9.1

If I set Ad/PopUp Blocker to High or Medium, page fails

If I set Ad/PopUp Blocker to Custom and check one option box:

    Only Banner/Skyscraper Ads: Works
Only PopUp/Under Ads: It sets itself to "Medium" and Fails
    Only Animated Ads: Works
