Kimber 8TC 7 ft. pair or 14.5 ft. single

I just bought these 3 days ago and now decided to use something different in my system. It's a 14.5 foot stretch that can be used for a center or can be cut in half to make a 7 foot pair. Blue and black version with bare wire on both ends. For close to the price of some Audioquest Type 4, you can have one of the best values in speaker cable anywhere.

$135 shipped and Paypal'd

Nobody for some really nice speaker cable upgrade to those Audioquest Type 4, Blue Jean, or Signals? Great bang for the buck here.

Ha, I know. I've been running through different cables for both of my systems and just finding out what works best in my system. And helping a friend find out what real speaker cables are like. I'd keep these if money wasn't so tight. They are absolutely unbeatable for the price.

I recently went from Signal Cable Classic to these Kimber 8TC, Wow what an improvment, especially in the bass.

I might be interested, but have to check to see if they will be long enough

The TC series is hands down the best sounding speaker cables in there price range. Audioquest gives them a strong run from there money but personally I perfer the sound of the 8TC.

Lots of nibbles, but no bites. I thought there was always a market for 8TC. I guess this IS a recession.

Willing to move a little on price and also open to trades. Lemme know.

Yes, I bought them used. I don't know exactly how old they are, but they are in good shape. It's kinda hard to mess up some bare wire speaker cables. Let me know if you're interested.

Sorry, man. I thought you meant that if I didn't hear back from you that night, then it wouldn't work. I litereally JUST accepted an offer for them on Audiogon so they are now sold. But I also have a 10 foot pair that I'm about to list for sale.

If a 10 foot pair will work, I've got some of those, too. But they are the newer version (white and gold) and are a little more expensive.

They are the newer version with bare wire at both ends. 10 ft. pairs of the newer version usually go for around $225 plus shipping, so I was going to do $210 shipped. It's a bit more, but they are 3 feet longer and a little bit better than the older version.

    Gebby,

You seem to be well experienced in this area...how important is itfor the speaker wires to be the same length?? I tried to send this via PM, but I can't yet.

Eh, I've never noticed anything detrimental using wires of different length. However, they were only about 2 feet different in length. Unless the difference in length is huge, I don't know if it's a big deal. Other people here may know better than me.
