Audio Advisor carries several brands of highly regarded speaker cables from Kimber or Audioquest.

For ICs contact CP's own ben62670. I think he does speaker wire too, not sure.

I just bought some Audioquest Type 4 which I guess is my first real upgrade speaker wire over the monoprice 12g bi-wire I am currently running.

If you are looking for cheap then suggest monoprice.com.

If you are looking for something better do a search there are p[lenty of discussions on cables here at CP. But whatever you do don't my Monster cables and brag about it here.;)

Depending on the cable type, audio advisor sells interconnects in singles.

If you look at the drop down selections, say for audioquest analog interconnects, lots of options are for singles.

But - maybe not all - depends on the exact cable you are looking at.

The Black Mamba is a very nice cable. That's what I'm running in between my CDP and my AVR. When I upgraded to it, it was like a night and day difference compared to the Monster I was using before. I highly recommend it.:)

Nice...I think you'll be very happy with that cable. I know I was.

It really helped clear my sound up...the low end was possibly a bit quieter than it was with the Monster...but it was also much punchier, and a lot more accurate. So the bass quality overall was much better.

It also really added a lot of shimmer and sparkle to the high end...and also took away some of the over bright nature of the Monster.

Midrange clarity was drastically improved as well.

Let us know how you like it when it arrives.

Has anybody ever tried the silver speaker cables like the Signal Cable - Silver Resolution Series? I have heard that silver is super fast and reproduces the best? Is it worth the $$?

It's silver stranded wire...and he makes both IC's and speaker wire. I don't know much beyond that though. His prices are very reasonable though. I've never tried them myself, though I plan to pick a few up sometime in the near future. There are many happy users of his cables around here.

I love it when people like the self absorbed **** over at the other forum give you down the road for asking a question. You have evidently made up your mind to upgrade your cables. You DIDN'T ask if you SHOULD upgrade, but simply asked for resources. No only do they put you down for even considering an upgrade, they take the time to put down your speakers as well. Not everybody here agrees that cables make a difference...some do...some don't. We have our moments here but you will at least get an answer...usually in a cordial manner. The other forum...those are the guys that give this hobby a bad name IMO....all (as they put it) in the name of science. I quit wasting my time over there a long time ago. I have found little to inform or interest me there.

I recommend Signal Cable and not to worry about bi-wiring.

Unfortunately, you're going to receive different responses wherever you go....that's the way user forums operate. I would stick with the one you are most comfortable with as a member. If you don't receive a varied opinion on the subject, or question asked, it's not probably not worth your time. Always get a second opinion in audio related subjects.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yeah AVS is definitely full of a bunch of snobby **** that think they know it all. Even in simple sections like the video game areas, people just like to be jerks and down everyone, a lot of internet tough guys as well. I have gotten bashed for asking questions over there myself, or bashed and talked down to (sometimes not in so many words though) because i'm trying to upgrade equipment for my polk speakers, to hell with them!

But on the flip side, there are some very nice and helpful people over there as well, but few and far between lately.

Here is another option for you to consider in regards to nice cables.

    http://www.mitcablesdiscount.com/speakercables.html?vmcchk=1

I just got myself some MIT's and they made a huge improvement for me.

Club Polk is a much more friendly and helpful environment, which is the main reason i spend most of my time on here now. :D

    Hi Cembros

    I'm with dorokusal.

In my expereince, bi-wiring has not added anything and only somtimes will bi-amping result in improvement.

I recommend that unless the Owner's Manual for your speakers specifically recommends bi-wire that you skip it.

ya iv just gone ahead and closed out the avs thread and i will not be returning there, i dont really care about bi-wiring, i really just want to upgrade my speaker wire and to be honest i think it would look nice if my speakers were bi wired. Maybe im superficial but asthetics are important to me, plus i have found that bi wire speaker cable are the same price as single wired which is a big reason why i was thinking bi wire
