My center has an intermitten distortion problem. The big problem is every time I start to look into it, it stops. It dose not happen when I play music in 5 channel mode. I switched out my blue ray to my 2900 and it still happened.
Dose anyone know what would cause this. It's down to the AVR, amp, speaker or one of the wires. Any help would be great.

I am guessing that it could not be the TV? Or could it.

What gauge speaker wire are you running to your CC? It wouldn't be the TV because the Lsic is magnetically shielded.

I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but you might check to make sure none of the speaker wires are touching each other.

The speaker wire is just some 16ga monster from BB. It's not touching any bare areas and the ends are in Banana clips. I am wondering if it the cable box. I noticed the sound thru the TV was breaking up just alittle last night.

Ok, I was having the same problem so I wired all my speakers up front with 14 gauge, it helped a little bit. Out of curiousity I'd hook everything up with bare wire and ditch the banana clips, just to see if this is all because of a dud clip. Just a random thought, but thats something I'd try.
