save your money. You'll get bored with it after a month. I have yet to know anyone who hasn't (unless you have kids). They're only really fun in group settings.

Too late. I Got it, an extra controller, rechargeable stands, a Resident Evil gun, and COD5. They were out of Mario Kart. It did come with the sports games though.

I don't like that it's not surround but I guess I can use THX Neural games for the signal? It's an analog signal so not sure.

Wii is ok, great for family, friends, multiplayer is fun. Pick up Boom Blox, Sonic Olympics, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy is addicting as hell too, Smash bros, and Wario Shake it up. All fun games. I play mine sometimes, Im a 360 guy. Let me know how the gameplay/graphics are on COD5 though.

Carnival Games. The Wii is no XBox or PS3, never will be...keep that in mind.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I had the Wii last year, and it was fun for a little while. But having an Xbox 360 and a PS3 as well, i just couldn't get myself to turn the thing on after a couple of months. I ended up selling it on craigslist though and made all my money back.

Quite a few people i know still have Wii's though and it's fun to play at get togethers.
It definitely gets better after a few drinks! :)

You cannot go wron with any of the titles above that Sherard mentioned. Highlights for me is BoomBlox and Sonic vs Mario Olympics.

For me I could never get into the FPS's on the Wii, WAAAAYYYY to hard.

Also I just use 5 channel stereo for the Wii games....that seems to work just fine for me.

Wow...seriously, you are already done with the Wii? LMAO...too funny.

IMHO if you are serious you should be able to trade for a 360 plus some cash....dont sell it short. Plenty of demand for Wii's.

I've been seeing them in stock all over anymore and not in forced bundles. Amazon has them for $250 free shipping. Not sure how much demand there is anymore. Of course I would imagine that supply will suddenly and unexpectedly fall short right around the holidays

I had my Wii for almost 2 years and only had like 4 games, 2 extra controllers, one extra nunchuck and the classic remote and I got 375 out of it local. Thanks craigslist! Then I got my 160gb PS3 BNIB for 400. Thanks again craigslist!

COD5 is good on Xbox not Wii. If you like adventure games get Zelda and Metroid. They were the two best games they had on the Wii and of course both made by Nintendo...only thing I still play on mine is the occasional drunk bowling of course...

Again, this is why I tell people looking for a Wii that when you get to the bottom of it the Wii is actually a Gamecube with new controllers. You are not going to be "wowed" by a system that is basically 7+ years old. And FPS's on the Wii I find to be very difficult. Could be my old age though too, but I much prefer hand held controller to the Wiimote.

I am not bashing it, but going from the ps3 to the Wii, well I can see why you are disappointed. Again Nintendo really broke the ground on the controller. It is really a great product, but looking at the games, I see no difference than what I was playing with the gamecube. And if I did not have any kids it would have been sold a long time ago.

In my opinion, the best thing about the Wii is the ability to download old Nintendo games and being able to play them without having to take the game out and blow in it, or have the game suddenly turn off like it used to on the original Nintendo.

My buddy has Tiger Woods 09, that's a fun game. It's the sports games that really make the Wii shine in my opinion. Still didn't help me from getting bored with the system though...:p

wise decision, Darla. I have both, and I have to agree that the kids love the Wii, I can't get into it other than playing a couple games of ping pong or tennis.

I thought you had 360 before?

here is a starter: Call of Duty series and Rainbow Six series.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Well since you already have COD's on the PS3 no reason to get those.

Get some Xbox exclusives like the Halo series, and then when new releases start coming out make the desicion between the ps3 and Xbox.

Definitely get Xbox Live. There are some great downloadable games in their arcade. And then you can compare Live to PSN and let us know what you think. Personally I think you will find it more stable, and a greater amount of really good gamers.
