Hello everyone,

I am a newbie to this site. I currently own a pair of RT1000Ps and wanted to compliment them with a CS400 as my center speaker. Does anyone have any suggestions where I could find one. Thank you in advance for your help. :)

Welcome to Club Polk! I will be switcing to in ceiling speakers later this year and would be willing to sell my CS400. I have a spare CS245i I could use as a temporary solution in the meantime. I just hate to ship it though, because it's pretty big and heavy and might not be a cost appropriate choice for you. Pricing would be about $175 without shipping. I'm sure shipping is about $50 or so if you are not local. Where are you located? I'm not sure if one post allows you to e-mail me, but give it a try if you're interested.

Otherwise, you can get lucky with craigslist.com if you are in a major metropolitan area. It's a great center and well worth the effort IMO. Your patience will be rewarded!
    Alea jacta est!

Hang in there! I have one but won't turn it loose untill I can locate a CS350 first. I got outbid twice this week on ebay and I'm still waiting on a response from this forum on one. If I sell it now it might take weeks or longer to find a replacement and I can't live without one that long.

I know I need to be patient. I live in Northern Virginia and I keep checking craigslist, but they don't appear that frequently, as it is an older model. I am sure one will come up somewhere at some point.

I was looking to spend no more than $200. I have seen a couple for that price or less on craigslist, but always too late. The problem with buying from other states is the shipping, which could add an additional $50-60 to the final cost. I'll just have to wait for the right occasion. Thanks for the link to craigslist posting, lectronicjunkie, I will take a look.

Where are you in northern VA? I have one I may be interested in getting rid of.

I have 2 of them sitting collecting dust and want $175 each (you pick which one). You'll have to pick it up as I don't feel like shipping it. I live in Baltimore. Sent ya a PM also.
