hi,
i just bought a db1212 sub that powers off an option audio amp 360wrms and when there is a deep low bass, sometimes the sub hits the cover and makes a big pop noise, but other bass ranges sound awesome. Just wondering if i have the gains up to high or can adjust it with the amp somehow? thanks

Are you sure the pop is from the cone making contact wiht the grill or are you pushing the sub to it's absolute max? If it is truly the contact with the sub gril go buy some rubber spacers from lowes and put them inbetween the grill and the box to move to the grille out and give the sub plenty of clearance.
Otherwise, I'd redcommend lowering the volume on the sub and if you need more output - add a 2nd sub.
