It's finally out! I just ordered my pressing. Diana Krall may not be a crowd favorite but the quality of this recording coupled with the impact of this rare live performance is a real treat. This was the only Diana Krall CD to own. I hope the LP is even better.

My wife asked if she was on drugs when we were watching the DVD. LOL

Who did she think was on drugs? Diana or your wife?

Ummm. I like much of what you have to say Mr. Solid but I can assure you that this is neither a new release nor a rare release. LOL. Indeed, the record quality is top notch and I love this music but I must advise further, the only Diana Krall recording that 'isn't-al-that' is The Girl in the Other Room which was written by the yuk of a husband.....Elvis Costello.
If you like the music, you must get the DVD Live in Paris.

The new album is not supposed to be released until next month. What do you know about the new album Quit Nights?

Stellar set. A bit heavy on the bass for me, but most people like that. I think she's the best.

Let us know how it sounds when it arrives. I find most of the new 180/200 g pressings to be pretty good.

I am a Diana Krall nut too. I have all her stuff on CD. Here is a bit of "musician speak" for you. Us performers used to say "She's got a great looking voice". It's a good line anywhere.

I hooked up my new LSi9's yesterday. Yamaha rx-v661, bi-amp and I turn the sub off when I listen. Diana was the first thing I had to hear and it's breathetaking.

Did it meet or exceed your expectations? I love the Live in Paris DVD (DTS) and I'm hoping it comes out in Blu-ray in some form of lossless, uncompressed audio.

Thanks for the link to order.

That's a big ol double bass being used, thud, thud, thud.
