Wine Recommendations: Pinot Noir

Just thought I'd pass this on...
Found a nice value on a Pinot Noir at Bev Mo
Tower Brooks, San Luis Obispo Valley, 2007.
V.G structure, body & texture, deep berry flavor, w/ spice & smoke lacings, strong long finish.
I am not a wine expert, nor play one on tv, just getting my toes wet with a lot of reading and tasting - but this one really impressed me for less than $20.
Enjoy the journey!

We're fans of a new label out of California called Barefoot. These are around ten bucks a bottle.
Tonight, trying a Chilean Concha y Toro CASILLERO DEL DIABLO. CARM -
Thanks for sharing the tip.
If I find this I'll certainly try it!
My first love is beer, but a good wine is enjoyable as well

Your too much Keiko!
The Wife and I when we went to Watkins Glen checked out a few Wineries.
Our fav was Lakewood.....great tasting and not over expensive.
They have also won many medals.
Our Fav is Lakewood "Abby Rose" and "Niagara"
The "Abby Rose" seems to sell out fast at our local stores.

Oregon is home to a number of fine Pinot's of both white and red stock.
Ten bucks a bottle for Barefoot, I buy it for $5 a bottle at the grocery store. IMHO, their reds are far better tasting than the whites.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

I've had some excellent Pinot Noir from Oregon, and also from Southern California (just like in the Sideways movie, which describes the delicate and difficult character of Pinot very well IMO).
The best Pinot Noir I have ever tasted would be a Vosne-RomanAlea jacta est! -
I called a friend up today and asked him if he wanted to smoke the 2 pre Castro Cuban cigars I won at a charity auction and before I could finish the question, his answer was "I'll bring the wine"
He brought over a bottle of 1985 Sassicaia.
