What can I say? I'm a post-****...lol I have thousands of posts on multiple message boards. Back when I first got my Xbox, I was a full time resident of the xbox.com forums. I was within the top 10 posters for a while...lol I think I had close to 30,000 posts there. I haven't been on there in a long time now...years probably. I'm also a resident of a couple Camaro/Firebird enthusiast websites, which I have over a thousand posts on as well. Like I said...what can I say? I'm a post mongering nerd.;):pThe nirvana inducer-

I live in Dixon, which is what's actually his hometown. He was actually born in Tampico, Illinois, which is only about 25 minutes from me. He only lived there for like the first few months of his life though.
Ronald Reagan actually used to live in my parents house. It's not his "boyhood home" that you can go and take tours of though. The upstairs part of their house used to be two seperate apartments, and Ronald Reagan lived in one of them for a few years while he was going to our local community college. It was the last place he lived in before moving to California. Just a little bit of trivia for ya.
So I can pretty safely say, that I'm probably the only person on this message board that has crapped in the same toilet as a former President of the United States.:pThe nirvana inducer-

There's not much in the way of really good restaurants around here. There are some that are pretty decent though. A couple good mexican places, we've got a really good Thai restaurant if you like Thai food. It's a small town, only 16000 people, so the options are kinda limited.
Let me know when you're heading down though, I can point you in the right direction. The nirvana inducer-

Most of the good camping is in Western Wa. but you are still welcome, if you ever make it out that way. Any of my "extended family" can come crash/critique my system anytime.

Well I guess I'll just post in here. Yesterday I recieved my new RTIA5s (cherry) and was very excited, given all the stuff I have been ready about polk audio speakers. I removed them from the box and was greatful that they arrived with no damage. My first impression, was holy crap these speaker look great. I then proceeded to hook them to my RXV861 Yamaha Reciever. I will say up front that I am by no means an audio expert but hearing these speakers for the first time, without taking the time to set the reciever up properly was in a word "fantastic". I bought the pair for $500.00 and it feels like I stole them. I played a David Gilmour Concert from last year from my computer(on an analog sound cable) and the sound was beautiful. I understand that they should have some burn in time,or whatever you call it but they are impressive.
Anyway it is probably no news to you guys in here, but I'm very glad I bought these speakers. I went to a local audio store and listened to a set of Paradigm monitors, which sounded fine but was not impressed with the look and finish of them. After unpacking these RTI's I feel that taking a gamble and buying them with never listening to them in a store was the absolute right choice. I will be adding more to this sytem later, but for now I'm a happy camper."They're always talking about my drinking, but never mention my thirst" Oscar Wilde
