    That's for sure!

My friend just took his dad's '66 Chevelle out for a spin tonight and recorded three vids of it. It's got a 385 in it backed by a M20 four speed. It's cold in the first two videos, but I really like the way it adds to the lopey idle. But, then again, it sounds great all warmed up in the last vid, to!

Dude.... man I loved these cars. Actually I'm a fan of every single year F body.. From the very first to the very last. I love them all. Camaro or Firebird, it doesn't matter.

If I had a huge car collector garage, and money to go along with this dream, I would have 1 or 2 of every single year Camaro and Firebird.

I know it's a under 80's but one of my personal favorite top 3 cars in the world is the 1989 Pontiac Trans am 20th 3.8L SFI Turbo Pace car. Man what I would give up to own a completely stock perfect shape one... and to know one of my friends has one in his garage and will not sell it to me...

I know its not nearly as fast or powerful as older model muscle cars pre-stupid **** emissions crap but I do think theyre simply beautiful. They have been my favorite car since I was a kid.

well the movie out by Clint Eastwood called Grand Torino reminded me of how fond I am of the 60's and 70's muscle cars. :D

This 1971 Camaro is similar to the one I drove in high school.. although mine wasn't this color. Talk about a fun car even stock it was a hoot to be driving any Camaro in high school. :)

Kirk Proffitt. Has won 4 straight World Championship so far and actually won a championship this year in 2 different classes and went undefeated all year! Thats why he is Zapco's poster boy. If its any consolation he only beat my by 1/2 a point this year. :o

Dont worry tho - Ive got a little something for him this year.....Im moving to a different class. Thats right if you cant beat em, run!

Here's one that I swear was made to fit me. Man, I loved this car. This isn't the actual one but it's the same model. Mine was all original with the exception of a flex fan, billet aluminum racing rims, variable air shocks for the rear and very large back tires. 295/70's IIRC. I didn't have T-tops though. They were notorious for leaking. At the time, my girl had an '80 Camaro that was all a dark metallic Grey with low profile tires and her engine was definitely not stock. There was a Burger King in Northern Virginia we used to go too when the weather was nice and display them in the parking lots along with all of the other collector cars. Those were some good times!

    IMG_0631.jpg
^^^This one is not the factory original Gold. The one pictured below is original.

    474_1979_Trans_Am.jpg

This was my first real car that I purchased for myself on my 18th birthday. It was in mint condition. I loved that car so much, I even named her "Julie". She never let me down..........well, there was that one time in Ocean City MD that she overheated, but that's why I installed the flex fan. Four or five straight hours of HARDCORE racing on the strip was a little much for her.
