Nothing looks wrong there. Check the other speaker to see if there is a loose wire in there. The way the B/B IC style speakers work is the hot signal from the right is sent to the negative of the left and vise versa. If the connection is loose on either speaker then you do not get the signal to cross.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Wow; I've seen a few SDA xovers and that looks very different; all the ones I've modded have had the same board, which is different than that one. Not that it means anything; just different.

Not pretty, but it looks like it is still connected. Is that a very thin blade?

yeah, I would say so, it is the same as the rest on the bottom. Also, there were little white specks on top of the coil over, under the tape

Though rare you may have a shorted inductor. This would allow the SDA signal to pass straight to the amps ground.

Yep a quick test with a multi meter will get you close. It isn't the preferred method, but it is close. I think the DCR is around 1.25 ohms for the stock 16mh inductor. I'll have to check.

I did not notice any loose connections on the crossover.:) Off the subject, but what is the white discoloration around the center of some of the drivers:confused: I have noticed this on my 4a's also.
Not sure what the white discoloration is but I have seen it many times, nothing a sharpie cant fix :)

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

The white residue is from the glue used to attach the dust covers. Windex does a pretty good job of removing it or try Snow's good suggestion.
