i have onkyo 806, rti-a9`s, csi-6, and emotiva xpa5... i have herd the type 4`s on my system and want to get some. i was wondering though if the type-8`s would sound noticably better. my friend let me borrow his type 4`s and they sounded pretty good. any advice would be appriciated.

I'm thinking the Type 4's is a home run. I don't think you need type 8's. Type 8's would be better suited for harder to drive speakers, yours are easy to drive. The Type 4's in my opinion is a perfect match.

Type 4's should be good enough. I'm using the type 4's for my rti a9's and they sound great.
