How to connect sub to older amp?

I have an Onkyo Integra integrated amp, model a-809. It's about 15 years old, and works great. I'm debating buying something like vintage polk sda speakers (for 2 channel audio), or getting something like RTia4 bookshelves and a sub like a PSW10.
Question: if I go the monitor-sub route, how do I connect the sub, via tape-out, speaker B terminals, or something else?

You'd have to connect it to your main speaker outputs, and then connect your speakers to the sub.
I'd go with the SDA's personally though, give your options.

Also...you might want to look into a better sub than the PSW10 if you decide to go that route. The PSW10 is a good sub for it's price point...you'd really be better off going with something a bit better though. Possibly a PSW110 or PSW125. If you can swing a DSW series sub those are great too. You've gotta work within you're budget though of course. The nirvana inducer-

Go for the SDA speakers - even with the SDA-CRS that I have - there is a healthy amount of base........positioning is key - and I am powering them with a similar age onkyo receiver......
