I think it suggests that the Steelers may have had a little help from NFL officials when they won thier last Superbowl ;)

I don't have a horse in this race, but I have a real strong gut feeling that the Steelers are going to choke big time.

LOL....Amazing how we will not let things go; of course, I am still bitter about the infamous Thanksgiving coin toss up there in Detroit. From what I can remember of Superbowl XL, the officials did not rush for almost 200 yards against the Sea Hawks.

Choking is always a possibility for Pittsburgh in the AFC Champ (2-4 record) under Bill (average coach in an above average program) Cowher. But I do not think that they will choke against a bitter rival. Then again, what do I know. I predicted that they would be 9-7 at best.

Wow, you guys really can't just accept you got beaten. I seem to remember a few games before that in Indianapolis when polomalu had a clear interception that would have ended the game was somehow overturned. Well guess what, WE STILL WON THE GAME. I wonder why... maybe cause the steelers were the better team and the steelers were the better team in SBXL.

Now let it go, you lost.

You have style even in defeat. I do hope McGahee is ok. That was a nasty hit. The Ravens have a lot to look forward to next season with their QB.

...I wonder what they feed Ryan Clark and Troy Palamalu when they put them in their cages at night. You will not hear them coming, but you will know when they get there. I hope McGahee is alright as well.

I like Flacco. He may turn out to be a good one, but I hate the way the media jumped all over him and immediately compared him to Ben. Ben never lost as a regular season starter. That may never happen again, for a rookie or even a 2nd or 3rd yr QB. And to think that Dwayne Wade bumped Ben as "Breakout Rookie of the Year". I If I were Joe Flacco and some idiot reporter asked me "How does it fell to be compared to Big Ben?" I would reply, " It is hard enough just being Joe Flacco."

Ben also just handed the ball off his rookie year. He rarely had to make more then 20 passes in a game and put the game on his shoulder. In Bens first AFC championship game he threw 3 picks and lost as well to a defense that probably isn't as good that flacco faced in the Steelers.

Flacco is a good kid. Grew up just down the street from me. I used to run ambulance squad in his home town. When we had to pull game duty for the high school, we'd watch him play there. He was impressive then and he certainly warrants his starting position on the Ravens. He has a good deal of talent and it was rough watching that game wanting him to do well and heading to the big show his rookie year but at the same time wanting to see Tomlin and the Steelers go too. They deserve it just as much.

I think the Ravens are going to hold on to Flacco and when he gets more professional experience, the Ravens have a program there that is going to push him to elite status. They already have a team that is capable of supporting him and as he matures in to his position there, he's going to be an indispensable asset.

The Ravens lost this year. But they got to the AFC Championship with a rookie QB. They have a pretty good depth of talent but the work ethic through the entire team is to be commended. They can lose anyone at any position and they have another guy standing in the ranks who may not be as good or accomplished but he will give everything he has to play that position as best as he can. That showed against the Steelers 'cause there were times that Big Ben had nothing because the Ravens took it away from him.

That was a well matched game and the only spot that they didn't measure up evenly was the fact that Big Ben has much more experience including a ring. Flacco and the Ravens will get theirs. It just wasn't going to happen this year. Watch out for them next year though, that kid has a massive arm a good deal of leadership potential.
