Building your own sub box

Can anybody get me pointed in the direction of building my own sub box, I have a 100 watt Sony amp to drive the speaker.

You'll also probably need/want access to a table saw and a router too.

I build my own subs 2. I open the Dynaudio Sub 500 box and look!!! I got a DIY sub. I opened it so It's mine.....

The sony amp will work but not great. Its not very powerful & its probably got an eq built in like most amps that come from "pre-made" subs do meaning that when you do build it, it will not have a very flat frequency response. Building your own subs can yield awesome results that far surpass commercial subs, but if you are going to do it, do it right & you will thank yourself later.

the eayest way to make your own sub is a sono tibe. the seccond is a ib-sub and the 3rd is a box type.

what i would do is do a sono sub byt maje the otter endplates square then put the braceses on the out side at all 4 corners. then wrap the out side in fabric.

I've got a SVS dB12.1 driver I'll let go pretty cheap, though I imagine you'd need more than that Sony amp to push it. It was well taken care of and never bottomed (or for that matter even pushed too hard, 'cause my typical listening level is -15 from reference). I just upgraded to the 12.3 driver.
