Great posts you 3, and right on the money! Have a great weekend all!:)

...As for the noob thing, I think it is the sudden influx of people asking the SAME questions over and over that is frustrating, not to mention guys who come to only cause trouble. I haven't been here long but have seen 3 threads on what amp to buy for LSi9s all one after another. It is frustrating when a member puts their knowledge to use and answers a question, just to have the exact same question be asked the next day. Then when the person doesn't take the advice, buys something else, and then complains that it sound like crap.

As for fitting in, I have nearly 2k posts and never felt like I fit in, so don't sweat it. Like Face says, Why so Serious? Its just a internet forum, nothing more.

Nothing could be further from the truth Motzart. This is a very tight online community and polkies look out for one another here. We laugh and cry together, through thick or thin, flush or fold. I've seen a few characters sign up here and come in with a disruptive attitude. These are the one's that get shut down and usually don't last long. If someone came into your house making an **** of themselves, wouldn't you take offense to it? There's always going be some ruckus in any home and you have to be resilient. I agree with heiney. You've seemed to have integrated yourself well within CP. But if you find the aforementioned depressing, then perhaps this isn't the board for you.

Hello we are not in High School anymore.........audio forums are not the personals where we meet friends....if that occurs fantastic...I have been posting 15 plus yrs on other forums and have made some great friends cross the country who I see a few times a year socially...its a POLK audio forum nothing more or less....every think that maybe the problem is not with the forum? seems from your post that you have this problem on most EVERY forum....
Ask Polk audio related questions and get some great advice from those who DO take their time to answer the same questions asked over and over(Ben you come to mind first here among many many others) ignore the BS replies and be done, or try having a better attitude..take advice from ears that have heard...take advantage of the wealth of knowledge here from those who have the upgrade bug:) and post reviews as they move up the ladder..take advantage of time tested mods posted by those who not only did the mod but also took the time to post for all to learn...give thanks when they should be....enjoy the reading and take advantage of some great used gear offered here at a great price for members.....some pretty fantastic bennies if ask me...
Hoping all have a great weekend.......

I will say I'm envious of your PC rig. Nice stuff there! Especially the Monarchy;)

Thanks brah. You ever get your Pros? System is the Zero rig, inspired by Sean's old PC rig w/ the same Rothschilde speakers and some huge H20 amp.

I guess I have one piece in each 2ch rig which is recognizable. Gallos in the main rig, Monarchy in the PC rig, and of course the LSi9s in the basement.

Well, I am no noob, even if I have only been here for a relatively short while, because I won the Christmas karma and, therefore, am NOT on F1nut's, aka Mr. President's, "Bozo list".

I'm feeling quite warm and cozy right now, actually. It might be the wine, it might be the music, or both ...

I'm getting a pair of Lsi9's and would like to know what amp would be best suited to these? ...
Daboyz, I will be selling my h/k AVR 147 soon, rated 40 real watts per channel, and it will drive those to ear splitting levels with absolutely no distortion. Send me a PM and I'll tell you how much I want for it, but hurry up please, because it might be gone any moment now ...

Well I certainly hope I'm not one of these noobs that's mucking everything up. I kind of got off on the wrong foot with a few of the main members here, like F1Nut. A discussion got out of hand...and I should have just let it go...but I didn't. My mistake. I'm hoping to remedy that though, and maybe eventually the members I got off on the wrong foot with, will reconsider their opinions of me.

I do know that I've enjoyed my time here immensely, and all of the knowledge I've gained since joining here is making my head explode...lol It seems like I can't go much more than a few minutes without thinking about audio equipment in one form or another these days. You guys have a great community here, and are much more closely knit than any other message board I've ever seen. The Christmas Karma is one thing to testify that fact. I've never heard of another message board doing that before, and it says a lot about the quality of character here. There's a lot of great people here, who give some really great advice. I know it's helped me a lot, as well as many other people.

So...I hope none of you feel that I've been a nuisance here. I know a few of you have some strong opinions of me already, but I guess there's not much I can do about that.
