A standard bulb life is 2000 hours with a half life of 1000. But it all depends on the projector, bulb and useage. I talk on a specific forum about MY projector and there are some people that are at 4000 hours on thier original buld and the quality is like day one.
Using a projector for mostly HT a single buld can last for years. I have had my projector for a year and a half now and only have 500 hours.

Depends on the type of projector - most are still subject to burn in.
Not the screen but the panels on the projector.
