Well I think I've done good. Picked up a very clean pair of SDA CRS+ this morning (CL listing) and have been listening to them for the last two hours and yep they are keepers! I think I got a pretty good deal at $150, (but wait order now and...) that price includes the blade pin interconnect cable, wait there's more they also come with original Polk stands, but wait there's more that's right more, they also came with a Pioneer VSX-D811S AVR with the remote, manual and the set-up mic! I looked at the speakers and asked are they in good working order? The guy replied they have been in a closet since he moved to a surround set up and they worked perfectly when he put them away, then added if they are not in good working condition just bring them back for a refund. While he was apologizing for the dent on the AVR I said "SOLD". Loaded them up and drove back home with a huge grin on my face. At some point I'll have to turn them off long enough to pull out the dented dust caps (damn kids I'm sure) besides that they appear to be tip top. Haven't checked out the AVR yet,I brought them up the stairs to the bedroom and hooked them up to an Onkyo TX-8011 (pretty basic 2 channel 50W with a phono input stereo) that I also got on CL earlier in the week for $50. My $200 investment sounds like I spent quite a bit more than $200! I'll post pictures and a review of the sound later.

Great price on the CRS's. Congrats They need to be placed away from the wall to get the right base sound. Play with placement to get the sound you like. Once dialed in, you are in for some great sounds.

Are those ADS L-520's right next to the CRS's? If so, have you done a side-by-side comparision?

Dave they are in fact ADS L-520/2 perhaps a second generation or revision of the ADS L-520. I did have them side by side and did get to a/b them, and while I love the full rich mid-range of the ADS's the CRS+ just mopped the floor with them in the imaging department. It's funny to say but when the ADS's were playing I heard the speaker, when the CRS+ were playing I heard the music (sorry if that sounds all poetic and wishy-washy). Don't get me wrong the ADS's are going to be tough to return (they belong to a buddy) they are some of the most beautifully built speakers, real 1/8" wood veneer, eight sided, and those metal grills are all tough and industrial, but the CRS+ just sing!

That's the big thing with SDAs, they disappear, no matter how gigantic they get.
