hello all, i'm new to forums, and fairly new to higher end audio equipment. i need help with finding a good amp. my set up is
42 samsung plasma
polk rtia9s x2
polk cs2
pioneer bookshelves for rear l + r
boston acoustic p430 for back rear
velodyne dps12
onkyo txsr804
monster power center hts2600
i recently got these sweet polk towers. they sound great with the 105 w the onkyo is pushing but i know my speakers are thirsty for more. i bought a pro audio amp qsc gx3 300 w @ 8 ohms. sounded great but for some reason caused interference in either my sub or two fronts. after hours of troubleshooting and isolating components and power i found it occurs when my hdmi is plugged in from the out on the onkyo to in on tv. never had a problem until now. i will be returning the amp in hopes to get a specific home audio power amp. please any suggestions will help. looking to maybe get onkyo m282. only 100 watts but do you think it'll sound any better than the 105 i'm already getting from my txsr804. i'm on a tight budget. 200-400. any brands you suggest. thanks to all who help

I've never used them personally, but the Adcom 545 and 555 come very highly recommended. The have 100 and 200 watts respectively, and can be had for 200-400 dollars on the used market. The Emotiva XPA-2 is great too for budget setups, but might be a bit out of your price range...more like 700 dollars.

yes the amp has ground three prong plug. if that's what's causing interference, what could be the solution?
